The Heritage on Wheels luxury train tour is replete with culture, history and luxury. The twice departures of the train in a week make it convenient for travelers wanting to enjoy a beautiful weekend. With the Heritage on Wheels, travelers get to see the yet to be unexplored regions of the land of Rajasthan.
The tariff for single occupancy is US $ 300 and 12,500 Indian rupees. For double occupancy, there is US $ 200 and 8500 Indian rupees and for triple occupancy, the rate is bit lower at US $ 150 and 6500 Indian rupees. The tariff charged includes accommodation, travel cost, dining, sightseeing tours in the deluxe coaches, the fee for entrance to the monuments, palaces and other cultural entertainment. However, the tariff does not include laundry, liquor, and things of personal use during the tour.
If travelers chose to board the Heritage on Wheels in seasons such as Christmas and New Year, then there is the additional ten percent surcharge along with the 3.09% Service Tax that is also applicable on the tariff for the tour. If travelers have children who are between the ages of five to twelve, then half fare tariff is applicable to them. However, the tariff for the tour might change without any prior notice and hence it is important for the travelers to check in advance for the tariff. If for any unknown reasons the travelers want to cancel their booking for the tour, the amount will be deducted depending on the period in which cancellation is requested.
Tourists must inform cancellation by way of email, letter or fax. Tourists are entitled for a 5% refund if they cancel their booking 60 days before the commencement of the journey. Twenty percent deduction will be there if travelers cancel within a period of 30-59 days from the commencement of the tour. If tourists cancel their booking 14 days or before the journey begins, then there is 100% deduction of the tariff. If travelers wish to discontinue their tour, they cannot avail any refund on the tariff.
