The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has 22 coaches with a seating capacity of 82 people. The super luxury train has two super deluxe suites, 13 deluxe saloons, two restobars, spa, board room, Internet facility. The coaches of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels have been built in Chennai. The Government of India claims to have spent $9 million to build the train and make it more comfortable, luxurious and provide the guests or travelers with extra and improved services than its predecessor Palace on Wheels.
The Rajasthan Royal on Wheels Coaches have been given a regal look. All the coaches of the super luxury train are well done up. They look like a beautiful palace. The super deluxe coach of Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has two suites -- Mother of Pearl and Silver Suites -- with a capacity of four people. Each suite has double beds, with spacious sitting area with dressing table, luggage rack, bath room with shower and bath tub. The coach also has a common lounge.
The deluxe coach has three double bedded cabins with a capacity of six people. Each cabin has double beds, seating area, dressing table, luggage rack with spacious bathroom. The Royal rajasthan on Wheels has a restaurant lounge, which eliminates waiting time. The two restaurant lounge cars, combined has a capacity of 120 people.
Royal Rajasthan on Wheels offers world-class facilities that include international gym and spa, a well-equipped board room, Internet connectivity, TV, channel music, public address system, running hot and cold water, cubical toilet facilities, pantry in each coach with provision for tea and coffee, snacks.
